Our Junior Program has four junior groups, classification is based on their age and skill level. Their practicing times are mostly different.
In general, acceptance is based on first-come-first-serve basis. Players in the elite programs are determined by tryouts and coach selection.

1. Provincial Elites(PE) Intermediate and PE Advanced
Membership in the Provincial Elites junior section of Badminton-Pierrefonds is open to all from 8 to 18 years of age, and who meet the skill requirements. Elite Intermediate practice 3 times a week. Elite Advanced practice 4 times a week.
- Wednesday & Friday 6:30 PM – 8:30PM, Saturday 1:00 PM – 3: 00 PM Regular training
- Monday 6:30PM – 8:30PM Extra training for Elite Advanced
- They have to compete in at least 2 provincial tournaments or national tournaments.
- They have to attend 80 sessions of practices.
- Fee for Elite Intermediate is $650, Elite Advanced is $1000
- Limit: 22
2. Elite Beginner
Membership in the Elite beginner is open to all under 12 with or without basic training before.
- Wednesday & Friday 6:30 PM – 8:30PM, Saturday 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM Regular training
- They have to compete in at least 2 provincial tournaments.
- They have to attend 80 sessions of practices.
- Fee for Elite Beginner is $550.00.
- Limit: 22
3. High School (HS)
Membership in the High School Junior section of Badminton-Pierrefonds is open to all from 12 to 18 years of age, with or without previous training.
- Monday & Friday 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM Regular training
- Fee for High School Juniors is $400.00.
- Limit: 24
4. Recreational Juniors (RJ)
- Wednesday 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
- Play games under supervision
- Fee for Recreational Juniors is $130.00.
- Limit: 24

Coach Assignments:
Club Head coach and Provincial Elite Head Coach: Allen Zhai
Allen Zhai was rated as a First Class Athlete in China. He participated in various world – class tournaments; He reached the finals in various championships in both China and Quebec, winning prestigious trophies.
2014-2015, Allen became the head coach of the Badminton club of Pierrefonds.
Feb 12- 14, 2016, Allen was named coach by excellence at the provincial Black Knight / Ashaway tournament.
In 2015-2016, Allen coached Andrew Choi who won the gold medal in doubles and Eliana-Ruobing Zhang who won the bronze medal in singles at the Canadian championship in Toronto on March 11- 13.
